We all know that music has the power to change peoples lives. But in a recent study by Heriot-Watt University, they concluded that “dance fans are creative and outgoing but not gentle,”.

Not “gentle”?

Is this a nice way for scientists to call us assholes?

While I think we can all agree that EDM fans are very creative and outgoing, are we also harsh, rude, or dare I say…jerks?

Here is a complete outline of how each music drives our personality traits:

  • Blues fans have high self-esteem, are creative, outgoing, gentle and at ease
  • Jazz fans have high self-esteem, are creative, outgoing and at ease
